I have been wanting to buy this book for awhile, but my mom was one step ahead of me. Thanks mom! It's my new favorite kid book for sure. The first time I read it to Jackson I almost cried, just thinking about him being big enough to leave me and go to school. It's one of those "everyone has to own at least one copy" kind of books.

There have been several kids books that have done that to me too. :) I need to go to the library again, I wonder if they have this one??

This book was read to Gracie on the first day of kindergarten. It really meant a lot to her since she sometimes has separation anxiety. We have it ordered now too and I just love the whole idea of the kissing hand!

My oldest went to Kindergarten this year. We read it the night before his first day of school. Even two months into school, we still kiss our hand and put it to our cheek. A very special book, indeed! If you see this comment, thanks for signing in on my blog for the necklace giveaway!
